Requirements
  • Expected qualification is a Bachelor's degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable university, but matured candidates having the relevant know-how and experience based on exposure to the palm oil milling industry will be considered as an exemption to this basic qualification.
  • Minimum of 10 -15 years experience in Palm Oil Mills and having management exposure or exposure in similar responsibilities would be considered for matured candidates.
  • Preferably someone who has experience in palm oil milling techniques that have been introduced to the industry over the past 10 years like sterilization indexing systems, biogas engines, automatic digestor loading and use of hydraulic double drives for conveyors are some of systems the incumbent is expected to have some exposure.
  • Incumbent should be around 40 - 55 years old and be in a sound state of health. Evidence of such health condition will be required.
  • Able to manage the operation of the palm oil mill as an integral unit together with the Biogas Plant and Composting operation, including ensuring the quality of POME discharged from the mill.
  • Understand the operation of the mill power supply that will be divided between the turbine, biogas engine and diesel generating units. The concept of the company is zero operation of the diesel generating set in line with RSPO, ISPO and ISCC requirements.
  • Would be based at Kab. Kutai Kartanegara, East Kalimantan, Indonesia initially, but should be prepared to be transfered to any of the Group's milling locations, including Bangka Island and North Sumatra.
  • Ability to manage correspondence using a PC to communicate laterally and vertically.
  • Having Indonesian working experience would be an advantage.
