HR cum Admin Executive
 
Our bar and lounges are looking for an experienced and independent HR cum Admin executive to take ownership of all HR and Admin matters across the company as a key support staff providing day to day support to the HR and Administration business unit. HR roles
 
Responsible for the full spectrum of HR functions, which include staffing, compensation and benefits, payroll and tax matters.
 
  • Apply HR and business knowledge evidencing appropriate decision making skills.
  • Advise managers on the terms and conditions of employment and knowledge share best practice with them. 
  • Develop HR policy and procedures to drive performance and mitigate disputes.
  • Implement learning and development policy.
  • Provide first line advice on current and existing benefits for employees and managers.
  • Administer payroll and payroll records and keep accounts appraised of any changes.
  • Work with appropriate parties on reward strategy.
  • Provide advice on recruitment and selection strategies.
  • Support the recruitment process – this may include writing job descriptions and preparing interview questions and application forms etc.
  • Carry out new starter inductions.
  • Manage talent and succession planning.
  • Drive alignment between HR strategy and business goals.
  • Continuously monitor and review HR policies and processes and implement changes where necessary.
  • Participate in the implementation of specific projects, procedures and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the organization. 
 
Admin roles
 
Provide administrative, operational and secretarial support to the Bar and Lounges department as well as assistance to the Director with the daily operation and coordination of the bar and lounges under Party Heroes Group (PHG).
 
  • Assist Director in all aspects of daily operations. Assist other managers and departments as necessary.
  • Run and compile reports weekly, bi-weekly, monthly and for year end. Provide necessary reports to Directors and Managers upon request.
  • Respond to correspondence as required. Assist with communication emails to everyone at PHG for special events and various information updates.
  • Office Administration: ordering, organizing, filing, data entry. Menu formatting, typing, creating graphs and reports. Answer phone lines, assist internal department and provide guest information and customer service. 
  • Distribution of Food & Beverage information. Assist compiling marketing work order in a timely manner, assist in creating menu marketing pieces.
  • Assist with cleaning reports, Health Department  inspections, maintenance reports and follow-up.
  • Attend various meetings and takes minutes of the necessary meetings.
  • Assist in maintaining & correcting employee time keeping.
  • Assist in preparing or correcting restaurant , banquet or special event checks & transactions.
Requirements:
  • Diploma/Degree in Business Admin/HR/Accountancy or equivalent.
  • Proven HR generalist experience of three to five years is expected.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills is required together with proven leadership capabilities.
  • Solid knowledge of employment legislation and its application. Must be conversant in Malaysian Labour Laws, Employment Act and other relevant legislation.
  • Proactive team player with strong customer service and problem solving skills.
  • An ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and diplomacy is crucial.
  • Self-motivated and able to work under own autonomy or as part of a team.
