Job Description

As a member of the Corporate Communications team, you will be entrusted to manage and protect Star Media Group’s image and identity. To deliver on this, you be involved in and possibly lead initiatives that meet this objective. In addition to this, it is also our role to ensure the Group consistently delivers on its brand promise as a media entity and corporate citizen through specific initiatives that demonstrate that commitment.
The areas of responsibility typically encompass protecting the visual and brand identity of Star Media Group, developing, managing and implementing campaigns that place the company in a favourable light among key stakeholders, annually manage and deliver on the company’s annual report for shareholders, manage corporate and editorial visits, prepare press releases, speeches and editorial stories in relation to campaigns run by the Unit.
You will also be entrusted to develop and implement marketing communication campaigns and events management for specific B2C projects.

1) Corporate Branding & Communication projects
  • Annual Report planning, development and execution. 
  • Brand and content management for corporate website, collaterals, corporate displays etc.
  • Brand Campaign Management - Define, develop, plan and implement brand campaigns that reaffirms Star Media Group’s brand promise and positioning.
  • Media Relations
  • Verbal / written Identity Management - Craft speeches, press releases when applicable, produce editorial content in relation to specific campaigns ie feature stories. 
2) Brand Campaign Management
  • Define, develop, plan and implement marketing communication campaigns.
  • Lead and supervise on-ground events related to campaigns developed, from product launches to forums and on-ground activation etc.
3) Project Management (Brand / Marketing Communication)
  • Responsible for ensuring effective management and smooth-running and quality delivery of all projects, from budgeting to planning and execution.
  • Assess need and recommend relevant third party partners for the development of communication materials and campaigns, including attaining competitive costing, credentials and approvals.
  • Minimum degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years working experience in related fields such as public relations, corporate communication, marketing, advertising, branding or media.
  • Experience in Communication strategy and planning, conceptualizing and executing creative campaigns preferred.
  • Strong writing skills (English, other language bonus) – editorial & copywriting
  • Good Adobe Illustrator/ Photoshop understanding
