BCI Malaysia factory OEHS/QMS Engineer, tentatively reports to BCI China Quality Senior Manager, responsible for following activities:
  • Implement national policies, laws and regulations on environment, occupational health and safety.
  • Set up systematic management of risk identification and sustainability related to quality and safety of company.
  • Participate in the preparation and daily update management of ISO 9001 & ISO 14000 & ISO 45001 related QMS&OEHS systems and procedures.
  • Plan and carry out the relevant OEHS training, assessment, qualification identification, and closed loop follow-up of relevant measures for field management and operators.
  • Organize annual QMS&OEHS internal audit, support on all external audit, including ISO 9001 & ISO 14000 & ISO 45001 audit, and product audit, etc.
  • Provide specialist expertise/advise to implement identified action from risk assessment, improvement plan, corrective action, management review, continuous improvement and so on.
  • Project and equipment safety management, such as dangerous work permit., safety operation scheme and so on.
  • Participate in the safety evaluation of various activities and equipment of the company, organize regular safey audit and review and closed-loop management of the operation safety of working condition on site. Environment, safety, occupational health risk factor monitoring and inspection.
  • Investigate accidents, complete or verify accident reports, and liaise with BCI oversea OEHS colleagues to identify the causes of accidents and prevent their recurrence.
  • Establishing company emergency plan. Organize and set up company first aid and emergency team.
  • Communicate with government with OEHS related work.
  • Communicate with customer with QMS&OEHS system related work.
  • Factory QMS&OEHS system foundation building
  • Compile, control and share internal/external quality and OEHS documents properly
  • BCI QMS&OEHS activities engagement
Job Description
  • College degree or above, major in QMS&OEHS or related field.
  • At least 5 years working experience on environmental, occupational health and safety engineer or QMS&OEHS management in mechanical industry.
  • Be familiar with applicable Malaysian safety, health and environmental law and requirements.
  • Excellent experience in daily safety inspection.
  • System knowledge (ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 & ISO 45001) 
  • Internal auditor qualification priority (ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 & ISO 45001)
  • Capable of troubleshooting, problem solving, etc
  • Knowledge of Process Safety Management and Hazardous Chemicals Safety Management
  • Knowledge and ability to deal with emergencies and accidents
  • Motivated, be able to communicate with oversea people in a time manner.
  • Skillful with MS office, bi-language (Chinese/English) communication, can communicate with oversea customers or colleagues via email or phone calls fluently.
