• Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
• create and maintain software documentation and code comments
• responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling web applications.
• Work with UX designers to match functionality with visual design intent.

• Degree in computer science or a related field.
• 1-3 years proven working experience in web programming.
• Strong development skills in PHP. Experience with Laravel is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of APIs and web services development (e.g. REST, JSON, XML, GraphQL, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of front-end development (HTML5/CSS/JavaScript).
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks/libraries (e.g. Node.js, Vue, AngularJS, Express, React, jQuery, etc.).
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (EC2, RDS, S3, API Gateway, CloudFront, Lambda, DynamoDB).
• Familiarity with Git (GitHub/Bitbucket/GitLab) and principles of Continuous Integration/Delivery.
• Familiarity with preparing test cases for automated testing systems.
• Adequate knowledge of relational database systems and SQL (MS SQL / MySQL).
• Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation principles.
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
