Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS - Animal handling and fieldwork experience; preferably with primates, bats or rodents, as well as first aid training, off road driving and basic computer skills. The candidate should be able to carry 20kg while trekking up to 10km in the forest. Malaysian citizens only. Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and basic English is required.
MONTHLY SALARY (including SOCSO & EPF) -RM2294.00 - RM 2800.00 depending on experience.

EcoHealth Alliance (EHA) is seeking Wildlife Ranger to join our Malaysian team. The position is a 1-year renewable contract with EHA, based full-time in Kota Kinabalu or Kuala Lumpur. The successful candidate will work all over Sabah and Peninsular Malaysia with sampling trips in remote and challenging locations. All field expenses will be covered.

The successful candidates will join our team for non- destructive sampling trips of free-ranging wildlife and domestic animals for disease diagnostics and novel pathogen screening. They will be supervised by Field Manager and will work closely with both Sabah Wildlife Department and PERHILITAN.
